![]() Have you signed up for a Care Group yet? Care Group Ministry is a model of the first century church that early Christians experienced. They met in the temple courts and in homes. In their homes they met their extended family in a warm, personal setting. They devoted themselves to the teaching and application of God's word in their daily life, they worshipped, they prayed, they exercised spiritual gifts, they stretched their faith, and they sharpened one another as iron sharpens iron. The Bible tells us that faith comes by hearing the Word of God. That simply doesn't happen just in the sanctuary of the church on Sunday morning but as we gather together and discuss God's Word and how to apply His teaching in our lives. The goal of this fellowship that we experience in our Care Group is to take the education of God's Word we receive on Sunday, discuss its application in our lives so there can be real transformation that occurs as a result. It's an ideal way that God has called us to be connected, dependent, and related to one another. In gathering together, we find answers to the needs in our lives. As you gather together with other followers of Jesus; to share your needs and concerns in a loving environment you will be encouraged as well as encouraging others. This is what happened in the early church as it is recorded in Scripture. Once you have selected a location you will be able to return to our site each week and print out Pastor Mark's sermon notes. You can use these notes each time the Care Group meets. The notes can be found each week here (click the icon below), or on the Light of the Word page on this site.
