And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.

Intercessory Prayer

What's Different About Intercessory Prayer?

Intercessory prayer is not the same as prayers for yourself, or for 'enlightenment', or for spiritual gifts, or for guidance, or any personal matter, or any glittering generality. Intercession is not just praying for someone else's needs. It is praying with the real hope and real intent that God would step in and act for the good of some specific other person(s) or other entity. It is trusting that God will act, even if it's not in the manner or timing we seek. God wants us to ask, even urgently. It is casting our weakness before God's strength, and (at its best) having a bit of God's passion burn in us.

Men and woman of this church are seeking the Lord and interceding for all who come to Calvary Chapel Deltona; as well as other concerns. Prayer requests can be given at (386) 235-1160 or emailed to: prayer@calvarydeltona.org.

We invite you to join us. We know that intercessory prayer has worked miracles right here in our church, and know that God is listening: For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them. Matthew 18:19-21

Healing Prayer

I will take sickness away from you . - Exodus 23:25
I am the Lord who heals you. - Exodus 15:26

We invite you to come to Calvary Deltona expecting your healing and miracle from the Living God who loves you and desires you to have an abundant life filled with His Love, Joy and Peace. Our Prayer Teams will minister to you through the love and compassion of the Lord Jesus. Come expecting the Lord to bless you with every heavenly blessing as we pray in faith. Please invite those you know who are on the Calvary Chapel Prayer Request bulletin. Those who are not part of our church or non-believers are also welcome.

Prayer Requests

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Phil 4:6-7

At Calvary Chapel Deltona, we wish to pray for all those in need, whether it be our church and its ministries, the salvation of our loved ones or others, healing, or anything else which we can bring before our Lord. You may request that our church pray for you by requesting that your name be added to our on-going prayer list.

Every Sunday you will find a small card in your bulletin that you can fill out for specific or general prayer requests, or you may request prayer right now, here by clicking: prayer@calvarydeltona.org

Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. In this manner, therefore, pray:

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

Matthew 6:8-13
